About us / Meet the Owner
Ninety7Frames was founded by Taj Smalls, a Charleston, South Carolina native who turned passion into purpose at just 22 years old.
What started as a love for capturing cars quickly evolved into something bigger — a vision to help people and brands tell their stories through high-level visuals. By 24, Taj had built a full creative team, laying the foundation for what would soon become one of the region’s most recognized visual production companies.
Within a year of gaining traction on platforms like Thumbtack, the business experienced rapid growth. By age 25, Ninety7Frames was ranked #1 across multiple markets including Charleston and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, as well as Savannah and Augusta, Georgia.
Since then, the company has worked with organizations and brands at the highest level — including the Atlanta Falcons, Cintas, national universities, and officials within the U.S. government such as former HUD Secretary Marcia Fudge. Collaborations have also extended to award-winning producers like Tracey Edmonds.
Driven by a passion for storytelling and excellence, Taj’s long-term vision is to create an all-in-one event destination — a space where weddings and experiences can be captured, celebrated, and relived at the highest level.
Today, Ninety7Frames offers photography, videography, and immersive experiences like the 360 Booth — all delivered with intention, professionalism, and a genuine love for the craft.
This isn’t just work for us — it’s what we’re built for.
